Develop management accounting techniques to help you support businesses to plan, control and monitor performance. You’ll learn different ways of managing finance within an organisation with the aim of enhancing business performance.
This course is part of the Diploma in Accounting & Business Level 5, also known as Applied Knowledge, which includes papers AB (F1), FA (F2) and FA (F3).
The course consists of pre-recorded lessons where your teacher will go through all units of the study book. In addition, there will be a live lesson once a week where you can ask questions directly to your teacher.
There are no minimum entry requirements for this course, and you can start first week of every month.
Books and notes are available to download from the platform and you have access to it during the course.

About your Teacher: Maria Debono
Maria graduated with a Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta in 2019 and is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
Maria started her career with a professional boutique audit firm as an accounting clerk and later joined a mid-tier audit firm in 2016 as a junior auditor and was later promoted to senior auditor. She has more than four years’ experience in financial services, mainly in audit and assurance.
As a senior auditor Maria performs audit engagements both in the public and private sectors. She conducts audit plans, identify audit risk areas and articulates the appropriate audit approach. Maria also ensures smooth conduct of audit engagements through direct communication with those charged with governance regarding auditing procedures for their entities. Her work has been across several industries including construction, hospitality, hotels, manufacturing, retail, foundations and shipping. Part of her experience includes the reparation of financial statements, and management lettersdetailing recommendations to solve internal controls deficiencies.
It is important to inform you that if its the first time you are studying for an ACCA course, you will be required to pay the following fees direct to ACCA and MIA – Malta Institute of Accountant.
You don’t have to pay for these fees now, as you will be required to do it before you take the exam. Some student prefers to pay after finishing the course.
