The main assessment method will be as follows: 100% assignment (Word Count: 4,000 – 6,000 words)

Written Assignment (5,000–8,000 words) – 100%

Assessment methods vary according to the mode of delivery:

  • Face-to-Face: Research projects, case studies, presentations and practical exercises completed individually or in groups.
  • Blended (80% Online, 20% Face-to-Face): Online collaboration, research assignments, multimedia presentations and classroom-based activities.
  • Fully Online: Digital submissions including research papers, online discussions, case studies, portfolios and multimedia projects.

Programme is offered 100% online or via blended learning (subject to programme requirements and change).

  • Students must possess a minimum MQF Level 6 qualification related to Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
  • Applicants holding an MQF Level 6 qualification in another discipline may be considered through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.
  • Applicants holding an MQF Level 5 qualification in Accounting or Finance together with a minimum of three years' relevant industry experience may be considered through RPL.
  • Professionals holding an Accountancy qualification at MQF Level 5 together with a minimum of three years' relevant industry experience may also apply through RPL.
  • Applicants holding an MQF Level 5 qualification in Management, Economics or Business may be considered where sufficient accounting knowledge and relevant experience can be demonstrated.
  • International students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS (minimum score 6.0) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
